Terms of Service

Winnowhq turns a public record into a verified brief. We offer three research lines:

• Buyer Cuts. A research dossier identifying in-market B2B buyers sourced from public Reddit threads, with verbatim quotes attributed to public source URLs and an intent score for each, delivered as a PDF plus a companion CSV.
• Brand Defense Audit. A defensive domain audit: lookalike permutations of your brand domain, availability checked against the public registries, classified and ranked, delivered as an XLSX plus a PDF summary. Optionally, with your authorization, we register priority domains on your own account (Scan + Secure) or monitor for new lookalikes (Standing Watch).
• Reddit Recovery & Archive. A reconstruction of a Reddit account’s public post history from the open RSS/Atom feed into a clean DOCX plus PDF archive, optionally on an ongoing backup.

The Service is research and information. It is not a guarantee of sales, meetings, replies, revenue, domain acquisition, content restoration, or any other outcome. It is not legal advice.

• Pricing is shown on the site at the time of order. Current tiers - Buyer Cuts: Category Scan ($497), Custom Cut ($997), Standing Order ($2,997 every three months). Brand Defense: Scan ($450), Scan + Secure ($1,200 plus pass-through registration costs), Standing Watch ($1,500/year). Reddit Recovery: Account Archive ($200), Ongoing Backup ($29/month), Reputation/Record Pull ($350).
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details.
• Prices are stated in US dollars and are exclusive of any taxes, which are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.
• Recurring tiers (Standing Order, Standing Watch, Ongoing Backup) renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel before the next deliverable or period; see the Refund Policy for how delivered and undelivered work is treated.
• For Brand Defense Scan + Secure, registration fees are passed through at the registrar’s cost and are non-refundable once a domain is registered.

One-time deliverables are delivered by email and download link within the following windows, measured from a confirmed order (or, for scoped work, from the agreed scope): Buyer Cuts Category Scan and Brand Defense Scan within 24 hours; Reddit Recovery Account Archive, Reputation/Record Pull within 18 hours. Custom Cut, Standing Order, Standing Watch, and Ongoing Backup are delivered as the underlying data is ready, on a cadence communicated to you. If we cannot meet a stated delivery window we will tell you and you may request a refund under the Refund Policy.

Where offered, a free preview (for example a partial Brand Defense scan of your own domain, or a partial Reddit Recovery archive of an account you own or are entitled to compile) is a non-binding sample of public data, provided as-is and with no guarantee of completeness or accuracy. A preview is not a deliverable, is subject to the same scope and consent limits as the paid service (sections 7 and 8), and creates no obligation to purchase. We may decline or rate-limit previews to prevent misuse.

On payment, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the report and CSV inside your own organization for your own outbound, research, and go-to-market work. You may not:

• resell, sublicense, republish, or redistribute the report or CSV, in whole or in part;
• repackage the data as a list product or competing intelligence offering;
• remove attribution or source citations.

You may quote brief excerpts with attribution to Winnowhq (for example in an internal memo or a social post that credits the source).

Winnowhq retains all rights in each deliverable’s editorial work, structure, scoring, and compilation. Quoted Reddit content remains the property of its original authors and is reproduced for the purpose of citation and commentary, with a link to the public source. The report surfaces people who have posted publicly. You are solely responsible for how you contact anyone, and for complying with all applicable laws and platform rules, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, ePrivacy, and Reddit’s own user agreement and content policy. Winnowhq does not authorize spam, scraping, or harassment, and nothing in the Service should be read as legal advice on outreach.

• Research and registration support only. The audit reports on the public domain registry record. It is not legal advice and not a trademark opinion. We do not assess infringement or advise on disputes; UDRP and trademark matters should be taken to qualified counsel.
• No transactions during research. No domains are registered, bought, or sold while producing the audit. “Likely owned” classifications are informed hypotheses you should confirm internally.
• Registration on your authority only. For Scan + Secure, we register the priority available domains on your own registrar account, or with your explicit written authorization. We never acquire a third party’s existing domain on your behalf.
• No outcome guarantee. Availability reflects the registry at the time of the check and can change. We do not guarantee a domain will remain available until you register it.

• Public content only. We reconstruct an account’s public posts and comments from Reddit’s open RSS/Atom feeds. We do not access private messages, deleted-and-hidden content, or anything requiring a login or the paid API.
• Ownership and consent. Order recovery only for an account you own or control, or for strictly public data you are entitled to compile. By ordering you confirm you have the right to request it.
• Not an investigation. The Reputation/Record Pull is a compilation of public posts, not a background check, and must not be used to deanonymize, harass, or unlawfully profile any person.
• Best-effort completeness. Feeds are limited by what Reddit publishes; we do not warrant that every historical post is recoverable.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We compile from public sources and attest our findings at the time of delivery, but we do not warrant that source posts or registry records will remain unchanged, that the data is complete, or that acting on it will produce any particular outcome. Third-party content is the responsibility of its authors.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Winnowhq’s total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the deliverable giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business.

You agree to indemnify Winnowhq against claims arising from your use of a deliverable, including any outreach, domain registration, or content compilation you conduct, or any breach of these terms.

We may update the Service or these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Changes do not apply retroactively to deliverables already delivered.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Winnowhq’s principal place of business, without limiting any mandatory consumer or business rights that cannot be excluded in your jurisdiction. Disputes should first be raised by email so both sides can try to resolve them informally.
